Brown is right

Speaking in the Commons, Gordon Brown has just attacked "all concentrations of power". 

I agree.  Unaccountable concentrations of power - in politics, the media, the corporate world - are wrong.

Tory modernisers and radicals should instinctively see that.  Those who talk big talk about "Google government" and the radical decentralisation of power must surely see that.  It diminishes us when we object to what Brown says on partisan grounds.       

I cannot ever recall saying it before, but in this our ex-Prime Minister Gordon Brown is right.  We should listen to what he says.
