Does a currency exist for the people, or do the people exist for a currency?
Our own government needs to explain if the approach it is taking to the Eurozone crisis is based on a belief that Europe's monetary architecture exists to serve the interest of European people - or if the European people must be required to do whatever it takes to maintain the Euro.
It cannot be both.
