International human rights law is morally bankrupt

To get a sense of quite how flawed international Human Rights law is, reflect on this;

For a decade or so, democratically-elected Israeli ministers have been unable to come to the UK for fear that they might be arrested and hauled off to face trial at the International Court.

At the same time, a string of Middle Eastern tyrants – together with their henchmen and hangers-on – have flocked through London.  Indeed, many own properties in smart London addresses, treating our capital almost as their summer home.

Yet on how many occasions have any of them been even threatened with arrest?  None.  Ever. 

Universal jurisdiction doesn’t seem to mean applying universal standards.  It seems to mean being governed by lawyers.
