Ireland - my decouple-default plan gains support

When I first suggested that the solution to Ireland's woes lay in decoupling from the Euro and defaulting on her debts, I got some critical emails from banking "experts" telling me why it couldn't happen.  One got seriously indignant over my comparison with Argentina

Perhaps when the orthodox approach has landed you in a Euro billion black hole, it's time to consider the unorthodox?

Now it seems my decouple-default policy is gaining support

If only those "experts" inside HM Treasury had a little more verve, British and Irish taxpayers might not continue to throw ever larger sums of good money after the bad.  The alternatives to the decouple-default option are only going to grown more costly in terms of money, economic sclerosis and ruined lives.

Shades of ERM?  Remember how all the experts seemed to agree ....
