Jeremy Hunt in Holland-on-Sea

120 local people attended a Fish and Chip supper last night with Cabinet Minister, Jeremy Hunt.

A fun evening for local people in the village hall, the event was open to everyone. Jeremy spoke about his role organising the London Olympics next year, his role in government - and fielded lots of questions.

I was so pleased that many of those who attended were local readers of this blog. The internet really is changing the way we do local, as well as national, politics.

We had nearly 60 new members join our local team directly on the back of the event's success.
