This time two years ago, the BBC's Robert Peston brushed aside any concerns that the fiscal stimulus might not be quite the answer everything some folk in Downing Street at the time might have wanted us to believe.
I wonder if Mr Peston might have changed his mind? Interestingly, he recently posted a blog that raises precisely the kind of fundamental questions about the nature of our banking system that are long overdue ....
