The Commentator

I've just added The Commentator to my list of favourite blogs - and recommend you do, too.

A brilliant new venture run by Robin Shepherd, Raheem Kassam and Harry Cole, The Commentator provides fresh ideas and original opinions. 

Big corporate media organisations often have a corporatist world view.  Media empires in receipt of £3 Billion plus public money each year have a habit of presuming that high public spending is a good thing.  The news and opinions we get from the corporatist media filter down to us via those who carry with them certain assumptions about the merits of collectivised decision-making and big, active government.   

The Commentator, on the other hand, is part of a new generation of web-based media organisations free from such corporatist prejudices.  It reads like a breath of fresh air.
