I see Lynne Featherstone, our Equalities Minister, has been allowed a bit of a splash with her "Equalities Strategy".

Do you suppose this has anything to do with next week's tuition fees vote?

Make the minister feel important with some headline grabbing blah blah, in return for staying on board?

No. I'm sure politicians aren't that shallow. Coalition management would never mean allowing Vince and co to sound off. Or reducing the high purpose of governing to tactical positioning and news management. Never.
