The Simpsons get their own TV show

Amid all the economic doom and gloom, here is a piece of news to cheer you up; the Simpson's may be about to get their own TV channel.

According to Nick Allen in the Telegraph, the longest running animated TV show in history has generated so much content, an 24 hour Simpson's channel is now feasible.

As the Western world slides into the economic abyss, we could reflect on the way our bailout-and-borrow elites are doing something so stupid, not even Homer Simpson would attempt it; trying to borrow our way out of debt. Doh!
