Why its wrong to increase the EU budget

On top of the £1.9 Billion increase in the EU budget we are paying in 2011, the EU has asked us for a further £380 Million.

Enough to pay for 6,000 NHS doctors, or 22,000 privates in the British army, or thousands of teachers.

I believe it is wrong to spend an extra £380 Million on Eurocrats, when at the same time we are poised to make cuts in public services at home.  In the video clip above, I explain to the House of Commons why.

Thirty seven other Conservative MPs agreed with me in the division lobby, with more that a dozen others refusing to vote against our motion on principle.
