William Hague has flown to Australia. After last night's vote, he might like look around him to observe how an English speaking nation outside the European Union can prosper and thrive.
No EU directives to obey. No bailing out the Euro. No having to haggle at endless Brussels summits.
Instead Australia has low debt, a growing economy, an sensible immigration policy and a government that answers to Parliament and the people - not the other way round.
It can be done if our leaders are willing to do more than read from the Foreign Office briefing notes handed to them.
