It might be related to nearby objects or if you’re driving in certain conditions. I had warnings go off while driving under bridges. It’s a bit strange!

Yes! My Pre-Collision system once warned me about a speed bump! Pretty sure that’s just my car being overly cautious.

I have a 2022 model, and the system has worked great for me so far. No issues! Maybe it’s just specific to certain models?

That could be true! I drive an older model, and it seems more prone to issues than the newer ones.

Could it be a calibration issue if it’s malfunctioning? I remember my friend’s car needed recalibration after an accident.

I’ve been using the Toyota Pre-Collision Warning System for about a year, and it has definitely helped me avoid a couple of close calls. It reacts faster than I do sometimes!

Honestly, I feel like other brands could use some improvement. I’ve read that Ford’s system isn’t as sensitive, which could be dangerous in comparison to Toyota’s.

I think Subaru’s EyeSight is quite good too! But, Toyota’s definitely gets the edge for me.
