Dual beams can be a pain, justin29. They might give more light, but I like my simplicity. Plus, maintenance is easier with a single beam.

Sometimes I wonder if all the upgrades are necessary. My pop-up headlights work fine as they are! But, I do love tech.
I absolutely love Miata pop-up headlights! Regular maintenance is key. I make sure to lubricate the mechanisms every few months. It keeps them functioning smoothly.
Totally agree! Also, don’t forget to check the electrical connections. A loose wire can cause a lot of headaches down the line.

Fogging can be annoying! I had issues once, but found that replacing the gaskets fixed it. Just make sure to get the right ones.

Every couple of years is a good rule of thumb. Also, I like to apply silicone grease to the gaskets each time I check them. Extra protection!

Over-engineered or not, I love them! The pop-up feature is unique! But if they stop working, I’d recommend checking the motors too.
True! And don’t forget to apply a bit of grease there as well. Minor maintenance can go a long way!
