Yes! Gobi has pre-drilled holes for light bars, which makes installation a breeze. No need to worry about drilling into the rack itself!

Honestly, it weighs about the same as other aluminum racks. You get durability without the excess weight; it’s a perfect balance for my 4Runner.

I’ve noticed a slight noise at high speeds, but it doesn’t bother me much. Just crank up the tunes, right?

I’ve had my GOBI Stealth Rack for about six months, and it’s been fantastic for hauling all my camping gear. It holds everything securely even on bumpy roads. Highly recommend it!

I’ve had the rack for a year now, and it has been pretty quiet for me. I added some rubber padding underneath the feet which helped reduce noise and vibrations.

I used some generic weather stripping I found at a hardware store. It’s held up well. Also, the load capacity is impressive; I’ve used it to carry a rooftop tent with no issues.
That sounds amazing, stevenjennings! How does the tent affect your gas mileage? I’m considering the rooftop tent setup as well.
Honestly, I saw a slight drop in mileage, but it’s worth it for the convenience. Plus, the setup looks awesome on my 4Runner!

Not to be that person, but GOBI racks can be pricey. I wonder if there are cheaper options that perform just as well? Anyone tried alternatives?

I do feel GOBI is worth the investment for the quality. I’ve seen other racks, but they seem less sturdy.
