In terms of convenience features, I love the heads-up display! It’s great for keeping your eyes on the road while still being informed.

That display is cool! But I sometimes wish the screen was a little brighter for sunny days. Anyone else find this?

I actually think the infotainment could use some tweaks. It can lag a bit when switching between apps, but overall it does the job.

Good point! I’ve experienced that too, especially when I first start the car. Minor issue though compared to the fun of driving!

The materials feel premium, but I do wish they offered more customization options for the upholstery. Does anyone else feel that way?

Absolutely! I think it would make a personal touch even better! Who doesn’t love a little extra flair?

I’ve had my C7 Z06 Convertible for about two years now. Overall, I love the performance, but the maintenance costs can add up. Regular servicing isn’t too bad, but unexpected repairs can be pricey!

That’s interesting, angelanelson! What kind of unexpected repairs have you faced? I’m considering one and want to budget effectively.

I’ve owned mine since 2018, and while it has been reliable, the tires do wear out quickly if you drive it hard. Just something to keep in mind! It would help to check tire life regularly.

Good to know! Do you have any recommended tire brands for better performance and longevity?

I’ve been happy with Michelin tires on my Z06. They provide excellent grip and tend to last longer than others I’ve tried. Always worth investing in quality tires! Also, oil changes can be a bit on the higher end too.

I bought mine last year and have had a couple of minor issues with the brakes. Not anything too serious, but something to be aware of. Overall, I still think it’s worth every penny!

What exactly went wrong with the brakes? I’ve heard mixed reviews and want to know if it’s a widespread problem.

Hey jlopez, nothing too major! Just some squeaking which turned out to be dust buildup. Be sure to keep them clean, and you should be good. Regular checks go a long way!

I agree with everyone here. Maintenance can be alarming. Expected costs for insurance and gas are also something to consider. Is anyone else experiencing lower gas mileage than anticipated?

Indeed, antonio47! It’s a gas guzzler! I wasn’t prepared for that initially. If you drive constantly in sport mode, you should definitely reconsider your fuel budget.

Ha! I guess I need to turn down the fun a notch. How often do you guys get your oil changed? I’m trying to keep it in tip-top shape!

I do it every 5,000 miles, but manual says you can go up to 7,500 with the right conditions. Better safe than sorry, I say!
And bradley78, more fun is all part of the ownership experience!
