Anyone tried Mevotech wheel bearings? Looking for reviews!

I had to use a press to get mine in, but after that, it was smooth sailing. Just make sure to check the model compatibility, especially with different year ranges.

Thanks for the tip! Can you share which model you used these on?

I put Mevotech bearings on a 2008 Subaru Legacy and had a few hiccups during installation. The bearing seized, but a bit of grease fixed it. Overall, I’m satisfied with the performance!

That’s a good reminder, @sean74! Lubrication is key. I didn’t have seizing issues, but fitting the dust shield was tricky on my Chevy Malibu.

I love the Mevotech wheel bearings! Easy installation on my Ford F-150, but it took me a few attempts to get it just right. Definitely worth it for the price.

Haha, I can relate! Sometimes it feels like a puzzle! Are they a good choice for heavy-duty applications?

Absolutely, they perform well under stress. Just ensure the specific part number matches your requirements. I’ve used them on multiple vehicles and had no major issues!

That’s reassuring! It seems like a reliable choice, but I heard some mixed reviews online. Anyone else experienced problems?

I’ve read those too, and I wonder if it’s based on specific models. My experience has been mostly positive. Although, I did have a friend who faced some difficulties with his Jeep.

Yeah, installation can be a challenge sometimes! But for the price and quality, I think they’re a solid option. Have any of you tried their other suspension parts?

Not yet, but I’m curious! Maybe once I install these bearings, I’ll give it a shot!

I’ve used Mevotech wheel bearings for a couple of years. They were reasonably priced compared to others and I’ve had no issues with durability. Definitely feel I got my money’s worth!

That’s great to hear! I’m curious how they stack up against other brands in the long run. Do you think the savings on Mevotech justify any performance differences?

I tried Mevotech after hearing good reviews, but honestly, they performed just as well as some cheaper options. Not sure if I’d say they’re the best value out there.

I understand your point. Sometimes cheaper parts can surprise us! Has anyone compared their installation process to others?

I’ve found Mevotech bearings to be pretty easy to install, but definitely not the easiest. If you’re a DIYer, it’s worth checking their video tutorials!

In terms of pricing, Mevotech is competitive. I think they give you decent performance for what you pay compared to brands like Moog, which can be more expensive.

I used both Mevotech and Moog in my vehicles, and I honestly couldn’t feel much difference. Mevotech offers a solid price point!

True! But are we sacrificing quality for savings? Anyone experienced premature wear with them?

Had Mevotech bearings for about a year now, and no signs of wear yet. I think they are worth the investment based on my experience.
