I’ve noticed my console lid doesn’t close securely. It’s like it doesn’t fit right anymore. I wonder if there’s a build quality issue?

That’s strange! Have you tried adjusting the hinges at all? Sometimes those little adjustments can solve the problems.
The overall build quality feels solid to me, but there are definitely quirks like the ones you mentioned. I wonder if these issues are common or if we’ve just ended up with a few faulty parts.

I’ve had a mixed experience. The center console is great for storage, but functionally, it can be hit or miss. Sometimes I just sit there and wonder if it’s acting up again.
Sounds like a frustrating experience! Maybe we should all document the issues and one of us should reach out to Ford together. Strength in numbers!

I’ve heard of some people having success with firmware updates. Has anyone tried that? Maybe it could help with the electronic issues we’ve mentioned.

I’ve actually done a DIY console mod! I added a wireless charging pad and some extra USB ports. It was pretty straightforward and made a big difference in usability.
