Different vehicle types can indeed have wildly different recommendations. My pickup truck says every 30,000, which I thought was odd until I read more about it!

I haven’t found much yet! But I suspect it might due to the added stress on the transmission. Anyone have experience with this?

When in doubt, changing it more often is better than not enough, right? Besides, you can’t pour back old fluid once it’s changed!

My dad always joked that if you hear your transmission whining, it’s too late for fluid changes! Keeping up with maintenance is no laughing matter!
