Has anyone else experienced the Ford Death Wobble? What’s the recall situation?

The fact that some owners still experience the wobble after recalls is concerning. I’m reflecting on whether to stay loyal to Ford or consider switching brands altogether.

I’ve definitely experienced the Ford Death Wobble in my 2018 F-150. After the recall, they replaced my track bar, and it has significantly improved. Still keeping an eye on it, though!

That’s good to hear about the track bar replacement! I’m curious if anyone else has tried beefing up their suspension to help prevent it.

I had a major wobble in my 2019 F-250 too! After the recall, I got new shocks and a steering stabilizer installed. It seems to have made a difference, but I still feel a bit uneasy on bumpy roads.

That’s interesting! Did you notice any changes after the stabilizer? Maybe I should look into that as well.

I’m glad they’re addressing this issue, but why didn’t they fix it properly the first time? My friend’s F-350 nearly went off the road before they fixed it. It’s concerning!

I joke about the wobble now, but it made me spill my coffee all over myself. Anyone else have a funny story from it?

Haha! Just trying to keep it light! I spilled soda once—it was a mess and a warning! But on a serious note, are these repairs usually covered under the recall?

From what I’ve seen, yes—most repairs related to the wobble are covered under the recall, including track bar and suspension fixes. Just make sure to check with your dealer for details.

After my recall work, I also added a steering stabilizer, and it has worked wonders! The wobble is much less frequent now, so there’s hope!

Exactly! It’s just frustrating that some dealerships take longer. Anyone found better solutions beyond factory fixes?
