Sounds like a good plan! I’ll definitely consider that if I go the DIY route.
Just be prepared for the drying times when using DIY. I waited too long thinking it would be OK, and ended up with a scratched window! Lesson learned.

In the end, I had to get the window redone. If I had just gone with a pro, it would’ve saved me time and money in the long run!
But isn’t part of the fun in DIY projects the learning experience? Even if it doesn’t go perfectly every time, you improve!

True, but I prefer to learn on smaller projects! My car is too precious for trial and error.

Haha, good point! No one will forget the ‘DIY disaster’ story. But I’d still rather get it right the first time!
