I’m curious about this whole smartphone app thing. Does it require your car to be newer, or can any vehicle with HomeLink use it?
Great question, heathermartinez! As far as I know, many newer cars support the app, but it’s always good to check the compatibility first.

I once programmed my HomeLink with a friend’s remote while yelling, ‘WiFi, can you hear me?’ Definite ‘dad joke’ moment! But it worked!
