Looking for Continental TerrainContact A/T Reviews – What Do You Think?

I’m on my second set of these tires and swear by them! They’ve been excellent for both highway and off-road conditions. Treadwear is really solid compared to others I’ve tried.

Yeah, I’m with you, ydavism! My first set lasted well beyond 50,000 miles without much wear. They handled punctures pretty well too; no major issues so far.

Awesome! What types of terrains do you usually drive on? I’d love to hear more about performance in those conditions.

I’ve seen some complaints about the TerrainContact A/T losing traction in deep mud. Anyone else experienced this?

I’ve had a bit of a different experience. They’re not mud-specific tires, but I’ve never had an issue in light mud. Could be vehicle weight?

I’ve had these tires for about a year and a half, and I’m starting to see wear on the edges. Overall, they performed decently but wish they had more tread life.

That sounds disappointing. Did you rotate them regularly? I’ve heard that’s important for extending lifespan.

I’ve also heard mixed things about the wear. I like my TerrainContact A/T, but I don’t know if I’d buy them again solely based on tread life. Any thoughts?

That’s fair, Keller. I’m thinking of switching to another brand next time, depending on how my second set holds up. I mean, the cup-and-tread is real!

Has anyone tried using these tires for winter conditions? I’ve been curious about their performance outside of regular driving.

Good question! I’ve avoided them for heavy snow, but they did decently in light winter conditions. Just a thought!

I’ve had the Continental TerrainContact A/T for about a year now. The grip is fantastic in both wet and dry conditions! I appreciate how quiet they are compared to other all-terrain tires like the Goodyear Wrangler.

That’s great to hear! How do they perform off-road? I’m considering them but want to know how they handle gravel and mud.

The TerrainContact A/T handles off-road quite well! I took mine through some rocky trails and they held up nicely. The tread design is really effective, unlike the cheaper brands that often wear out quickly.

That sounds promising! How do they compare on pricing? Are they worth the investment?

Pricing is reasonable for the quality you get. I found them at a great price, around $200 each, which is competitive compared to other brands like BFGoodrich.

I’ve read reviews that say they can struggle in deep snow. Anyone had experience with that? I need something versatile for winter conditions too.

I’ve some worries too! My buddy uses them and says they do okay, but he also has chains just in case.

I’ve noticed they perform well in lighter snow, but heavy snow does pose a challenge. A good all-terrain alternative might be the Falken Wildpeak AT3W, which some friends swear by.

I’ve heard about those! Are they quieter than the Continentals on the highway?
