Need Help Finding a Viper Remote Start Replacement Fob

That’s so relatable! Has anyone noticed if temperature impacts performance with these fobs? I sometimes think extreme cold makes mine act up.

I totally agree! My fob stops working reliably in the winter. I wonder if there are fobs better designed for extreme conditions?

I’ve dealt with some mixed signals from mine, mostly in colder weather. Is it possible there’s a range limit on how far you can be from the car? I think that might be an issue too.

That’s interesting, but I wonder if some models have better ranges than others. I’ve always kept my fob in my pocket, far from the car, and had no trouble. Anyone else have different experiences?

It’s definitely possible! Some Viper models are known for extended range, but I’ve heard it can just be hit or miss. Are planning to try a different fob?

I just got a new OEM fob, and it feels like a huge upgrade. Finally, no more battery issues or connectivity problems! Highly recommend going that route if you can.

Look at that, a fob success story! I could use one of those. Do the OEM fobs come with warranties? That might ease my concerns about spending extra.

Yes! Most OEM fobs come with a warranty. Check with your dealer for specific terms. It’s a long-term investment, especially if you’re tired of the hassle.

I still have a third-party fob, and even though I face connectivity issues, I can’t help but chuckle at the situation. I feel like I need to train my fob to cooperate.

Haha! Maybe a motivational speech would do the trick! But honestly, if it’s giving you that much trouble, don’t hesitate to switch to an OEM fob. It might be worth your while!
