What’s the fuel efficiency like on the highway? I’m curious if the performance compromises gas mileage.

I’ve averaged about 20 MPG combined, which isn’t great but acceptable considering the off-road capabilities. It’s all about balance!

That’s not bad! I assumed it would be worse. Has anyone had issues with traction in muddy conditions?

So far, I’ve had excellent traction in mud! The 4Runner’s 4WD system really helps maintain control. Just make sure to use the right tires.

What about cabin comfort? I love the look but want to know if it feels good for long drives.

The cabin is pretty spacious and comfortable for long drives. I’ve done several road trips and found it quite pleasant!

Nice! Does anyone else have thoughts on the tech features? How user-friendly is the infotainment system?

The infotainment system is decent, but it takes a little getting used to. Not the most intuitive, but functional after familiarization.

I guess it’s just a matter of preference. Still, I love the rugged feel of the 4Runner overall, even if it lacks some high-tech flair.

Totally! It’s built for adventure. Just don’t expect luxury like in a high-end SUV!

I’ve had my black on black 4Runner for a few years now! Keeping the exterior clean is vital; I recommend using a pH-balanced wash and a good wax every few months to protect the paint.

I totally agree with you, Jeremy! My 4Runner shines after a good wax. Plus, I use microfiber cloths to avoid scratches. Anyone else have tips?

If you live in a dusty area, a maintenance wash every couple of weeks helps keep the dust from embedding into the paint. I also recommend Ceramic coating for long-term protection!

Good point, Pamela! I have a friend who swears by ceramic coating. What products do you guys use for interior upkeep?

For interior care, I use a gentle leather cleaner and a soft brush for the seats, and I try to vacuum regularly to keep dirt off the black fabric.

I’ve noticed that the sun can really fade the dashboard in the black interiors. I actually got a dash cover to protect it, and it looks great!

That’s such a smart idea! I’ve been using UV protectant sprays on my dashboard, and it’s made a difference too.

I always keep a microfiber towel handy in my 4Runner for quick clean-ups. Dust and fingerprints are particularly noticeable on black!

Have you guys tried detailing products specifically designed for black surfaces? They really help reduce those pesky swirls in the paint!

I haven’t tried those! What brands do you recommend?
