Thoughts on Car and Driver's Toyota Highlander Reviews?

I actually like the understated look! It makes it feel more premium. Plus, who doesn’t love a cabin that doesn’t scream at you with wild colors?

I think the comfort level is spot on! My kids are always asleep in the back after just a few minutes of driving. Great insulation too, per Car and Driver.

Haha, that says a lot! If it can put your kids to sleep, it must be comfy. What about the seat support for adults, though?

From my experience, the seats are pretty supportive for adults too. I’ve had no complaints on long trips.

On a different note, the infotainment system has this learning curve, which I found amusing at first. To me, it’s like it speaks a foreign language when you first start!

That’s so true! It took me a while to find the settings I wanted. About how long did it take you to figure it all out?

Honestly, it took me a week to fully learn everything. But I guess practice makes perfect, right?

Does anyone find the layout of the buttons somewhat confusing? Car and Driver pointed out it could be more intuitive, and I totally agree!

Yes! I find myself fumbling at times. It’s like they placed them randomly. Kind of frustrating!

I’ve been following Car and Driver’s reviews on the Toyota Highlander, and I’m quite impressed with its safety ratings. The latest model received top marks in crash tests, which is a huge plus for me. Anyone else seen these ratings?

Absolutely! The Highlander comes loaded with safety features like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist. It makes me feel safer on the road, especially with kids onboard!

I read Car and Driver’s latest review too! They highlighted the Highlander’s advanced safety tech, which includes a blind-spot monitor. For families, these are essential features! Definitely reliable.

So true! I was initially skeptical about its reliability, but after seeing those ratings, I feel more confident about it.

Considering all the safety features, does anyone know how the Highlander compares to other SUVs in crash tests? I’m curious about its performance against some competitors.

In Car and Driver’s tests, the Highlander really held its ground. They even pointed out that it performs better than some competitors in the same class. Very reassuring for buyers!

I’ve seen some reviews suggesting that the Highlander has a few tech quirks, though. Anyone else experienced any glitches with the infotainment system?

I did notice that sometimes the touchscreen is a bit laggy. Overall, though, the safety features make it worth it for me.

All in all, I’ve found the Highlander to be a solid choice. Car and Driver’s review really underscores its safety and reliability, making it a strong contender in the family SUV market.

Couldn’t agree more! Plus, it’s quite spacious inside. Perfect for road trips with family and pets.

Is it just me, or do the Highlander’s safety features make it feel like a tank? I mean, who wouldn’t want to drive around in a fortified family vehicle?
