I’ve been researching the best spark plug brands for my car, and I could really use some advice. Spark plugs are crucial for engine performance, and I want to make sure I’m choosing the right ones.
Why It Matters
Choosing a high-quality spark plug can lead to:
Better fuel efficiency
Improved engine performance
Fewer misfires
Longer-lasting components
What I’ve Found So Far
I’ve come across a few names that keep popping up in discussions:
NGK - Known for reliability and performance.
Bosch - Offers a wide range of options, suitable for many different vehicles.
Denso - These are often recommended for their stability and durability.
ACDelco - A popular choice for GM vehicles, but also performs well across the board.
Questions to Consider
Have any of you had experiences with these brands?
Are there any other brands you would recommend?
What specific types should I be looking for based on my car make/model?
I appreciate any insights or experiences you can share that would help me make a more informed decision!
I had a bad experience with Denso plugs in my Subaru. They didn’t last long at all under my heavy driving conditions. Stick with NGK for that type of engine.
I’ve used Bosch too and they’re solid! But I think the application and engine type really matter. Just remember, what works for one may not work for another.
