What do you think of black cars on black rims?

That’s good to know! How do you usually clean them? I’m worried about damaging the finish.

Black rims can be a little high-maintenance but they definitely add to the car’s aesthetic. A microfiber cloth with soap and water works wonders for cleaning without scratches.

Thanks for that tip! Do you think the durability of black chrome is better than matte black finishes?

I prefer gloss black rims over matte. The gloss seems to resist scratches better, but they definitely require more polishing. It’s a trade-off for sure.

I’ve had both finishes, and the matte ones get swirls and scratches easier. Regular waxing helps maintain them, but it’s more work overall.

Honestly, I think people overlook the maintenance aspect. Black rims do look great but can be a pain if you’re not prepared to keep up with them.

So true! What do you all use to prevent scratches when washing?

A good wheel brush can make a difference. I also use a separate bucket just for my rims to avoid cross-contamination with the rest of the car!

It’s funny how much attention people give to rim finishes. I mean, I get it, but a wheel cover might just do the trick too! Am I wrong? Haha!

LOL! True! But where’s the fun in that? Black rims are all about style!

I just got black rims on my car and absolutely love them! It’s a bold statement. Just have to stay on top of cleaning to avoid those dreaded scratches.

I’ve seen a lot of black cars with black rims lately. It’s a trend that could fade, but I’m hoping it sticks around! It really stands out on the road.

Does anyone worry about heat buildup with black rims? I read somewhere that they might heat up more than lighter finishes. Is that just a myth?

I personally love black cars with black rims! They create a sleek and aggressive look. It’s a classic combo that really stands out on the road.

I agree! It really gives off a sharp, modern feel. Have you thought about adding accents in a different color?

If you’re considering black rims, make sure to check the finish! Glossy black rims look stunning with a matte black car, while matte rims can give a subtle contrast.

Great point! I never thought about the finish difference. It’s all in the details, isn’t it?

Color compatibility is key! I’d suggest adding some chrome or silver accents to balance the all-black look. It could really make your car pop!

That’s a cool idea! Maybe even a custom decal or a color stripe could add some flair.

Have you guys thought about tire choices? The right profile can make a huge difference in how the black rims look with the black car.
