What's the Best Year for a Toyota Corolla?

Fuel efficiency is great, but what about power? I felt the 2017 model lacked that extra oomph, especially on highways.

Totally agree! But have you guys ever driven the 2021 hybrid? It’s surprisingly zippy for a hybrid!

The 2020 model has great features, but don’t underestimate the 2012 for a smooth and reliable ride with good efficiency.

That’s true! The 2012 Corolla had a good balance. I felt it was much quieter on the road than some newer models.

I’d love to join this convo! But let’s be honest, would any of us consider driving a Corolla at the racetrack? Now that would be entertaining!

I believe the 2018 Toyota Corolla stands out in terms of safety. It received top crash test ratings and comes with the latest safety features like adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning.

I totally agree! The 2018 model really shines with its Toyota Safety Sense suite. Anyone know how previous models compare?

The 2014 Corolla also had great safety ratings. It may not have all the fancy tech of the later models, but it performed well in crash tests and has good reliability.

That’s true! The 2014 model is often overlooked, but it’s a solid choice for safety and reliability. What do you think of the 2017 model?

The 2017 Corolla is also impressive with its addition of automatic emergency braking. If you want a balance of features and safety, it’s a great choice!

I might lean towards the 2020 model though! It has even more advanced features and great ratings.

I love that you all are bringing up the later models! I’ve read the 2020 Corolla has a five-star NHTSA rating and comes with advanced safety tech, which is reassuring.

Old models are charming in their simplicity! However, the added features in newer models really make for a safer drive, especially with all the tech today.

Absolutely! Safety features have come a long way. But do any of you prefer older models for any specific reasons?

True, true! That’s why I love my 2014. It’s reliable and has decent safety, but I wouldn’t mind the tech of a new model.

A solid ride, no doubt! But if you’re focused on safety, go for the later models. They really have redefined what’s expected in terms of protection on the road.
