What do you all think about using a blend? I’ve seen mixed reviews. Is it a good middle ground for those who want some benefits of synthetic without the full price?
Blends can be a decent option, though it may not provide all the benefits of full synthetic. If you drive under harsh conditions, I’d stick to full synthetic for peace of mind.
I also wonder about the oil filter. Should I always use the OEM filter or would a good aftermarket option suffice?

Why did the Highlander go to therapy? Because it had too many oil issues! Seriously though, monitor those levels closely!
