I’m looking to upgrade my vehicle’s suspension and have been hearing a lot about Moog stabilizer bar links. Can anyone share their experiences with these products?
What I’m Looking For:
Durability: How well do they hold up over time compared to other brands?
Installation: Is it a straightforward DIY job, or should I leave it to the pros?
Performance: Notice any improvements in handling or ride quality after installation?
Additional Questions:
Are there any specific models or types I should consider?
What are some common issues that might arise during installation?
Any recommendations on where to buy them? I prefer local shops but am open to online options too.
I appreciate any insights or advice you all can provide! Thanks!
Great point, @martinezseth! Also, don’t forget some penetrating oil to help with those stubborn bolts. It can save you a lot of grief during installation.
I installed Moog stabilizer bar links last year, and they made a significant difference in handling. No more annoying clunking noises! Highly recommend them.
I had a horrible experience with Moog links. Premature wear after just six months! Stick with OEM parts if you can. Don’t want to waste time and money.
I think maintenance plays a role. I’ve had no issues, but I always get my alignment checked after any suspension work. Might prevent those wear issues, right?
