I’m looking to get some feedback on my modified white 2007 BMW E90 328xi. I’ve been working on it for a while now, and I’d love to hear what others think! Here’s a bit about what I’ve done:
Modifications Made:
Suspension: Upgraded to coilovers for improved handling.
Exhaust: Installed a custom cat-back exhaust for a sportier sound.
Wheels: Swapped for lightweight aftermarket wheels, 19 inch.
Performance Chip: Added a tuning chip for improved engine performance.
Aesthetics: Blacked out the grille and added LED headlight accents.
Performance:
I’ve noticed a big difference in handling and responsiveness. It feels much sportier, and the sound when I accelerate is exactly what I was looking for. However, I’m curious about any potential long-term impacts on reliability from these modifications.
Questions:
Have any of you made similar mods on an E90 or similar model?
What other modifications do you think I should consider?
Does anyone have any recommendations for maintaining performance while ensuring the car remains reliable?
Would love to see pictures of your modified E90s as well! Looking forward to your thoughts!
I installed BC Racing coilovers and it’s transformed my handling dynamics. The ride is firmer but totally worth it. What suspension modifications have you done?
Upgrading the springs is definitely a good idea if you’re looking for better control during turns. Don’t forget to get the alignment checked afterward!
All these modifications sound interesting! I’m reflecting on how each change impacts the driving experience – from spirited drives to daily commutes. Do you feel the same?
