I’ve owned a Golf 7 MK7 R for a year now, and I must say, the acceleration is impressive. It hits 0-60 mph in just over 4 seconds, making it a blast to drive!
The MK7 R is a great all-rounder. It’s sporty enough for track days but comfortable enough for daily driving. The ride quality is surprisingly good for a hot hatch.
That’s true, mroy! Just last weekend, I took it to the track, and it performed beautifully! The top speed is around 155 mph, and I felt completely in control.
The handling in the wet can be tricky though. It’s good, but you have to respect the power. I’ve had a couple of close calls due to sudden acceleration.
I’ve had my Golf 7 MK7 R for a year now, and I’ve added a cat-back exhaust system. The sound is incredible and really shifts the performance up a notch. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for that extra thrill!
I went for Stage 2 tuning with APR software and upgraded my intercooler. The performance gains were substantial, and I didn’t run into reliability issues. Just be mindful of your warranty!
