I recently switched to synthetic oil and noticed smoother performance overall. It might give you a slight MPG boost too, though I haven’t quantified it yet.

I took detailed notes before and after my modifications. I saw about a 1-2 MPG improvement with the air intake and exhaust combo, quite surprising!
1-2 MPG is impressive! Do you think the real-world driving conditions impacted those numbers? I often drive around town and see different results.
In town driving definitely impacts it. I find highway miles yield better MPG, but city driving with stops can drop it significantly. What do you guys typically drive?

I use mine mostly for weekend adventures, so it’s a mix of highway and some off-road. All this talk about MPG makes me want to drive more conservatively – or is that just sad?
